Schools, universities, language schools and student organisations use World City Trail games to discover a city in teams. Students solve riddles at the main sights on their phones, without a guide and at their own pace. As a partner you get a code with 10% off for your groups and earn 10% commission on bookings made with it.
Why city games work for students
- Teams move through the city on their own, which keeps everyone active and involved.
- Every stop comes with a riddle and a short story, so students learn about the place as they play.
- Games are available in several languages, which helps language classes and international groups.
- The outdoor escape game adds a challenge for older students who like puzzles.
What partners get
- 10% off for your groups with your partner code.
- 10% commission on every paid booking made with your code, paid monthly, for example for your student association or school fund.
- QR cards and a link you can share with students, teachers and exchange students.
- No setup cost, no contract and no minimum number of bookings.
Ideas for schools and student groups
- Use the game on the first day of a school trip so students get to know the city.
- Run a team competition: several teams play the same route and compare their times.
- Share the city guides with exchange and Erasmus students for food, going out and day trips.
- Language schools can let students play in the language they are learning.

Questions from schools
How many students can play at once?
Each booking covers the number of players chosen at checkout, and larger classes can split into several teams that each play on their own phone.
Is it safe to let teams walk on their own?
The routes follow the main streets and squares of the historic centre. Teachers decide whether teams walk alone or with an adult, as on any school trip.
Do students need mobile data?
A phone with mobile data is needed for the games and the map. The city guides also work offline.
