The Agadir City Guides answer what visitors keep asking: where to eat fish by the working port, which souk is worth your morning and which to skip, where the surf coast north of town is at its best and how to reach Essaouira, Tiznit or Paradise Valley without booking a tour. Each guide is a short, opinionated list with the reason to go, what to order or look out for and one practical tip for every place, and it opens in your browser the moment you pay.

Three places from the guides
Moul Tawa
Port d’Agadir, by the marina
A fish place on the edge of the working harbour, which is why locals eat here as well as visitors. Pick from the day’s catch and have it grilled or fried. From the food guide.
Crocoparc
Drarga, about 15 km east of the centre
Better than the name suggests: shaded paths loop around a large crocodile pool, with tortoises, lizards and birds along the way. Plan two hours and arrive for one of the feeding times. From the things to do guide.
Legzira
About 10 km north of Sidi Ifni
Red cliffs and sea arches on a long beach. The best-known arch fell in 2016, yet the cliffs and the remaining rocks still impress, and at low tide you can walk between arches and caves. From the day trips guide.
Plan your days in Agadir
Day one: a morning at Souk El Had, lunch at a fish grill near the port, the beach in the afternoon and sunset from the kasbah on Agadir Oufella before dinner in Talborjt. Day two: ride a minibus north to Taghazout to watch the surfers and eat fish at a village port, or take a coach to Essaouira for the old town and the harbour. For a rainy or slow day, mix the Agadir Art Museum, the Ibn Zaidoun Garden, a long café breakfast and a quiet evening at the marina.
