The Honfleur City Guides answer the questions this small harbour town keeps raising: where to eat seafood without paying extra for a quay view and a laminated menu, which museums to fit in before they shut for lunch, where to escape the day-trip crowds on the hill above town, and how to reach the beaches, cider farms and chalk cliffs from a town with no railway station. Each guide is a short, honest list that tells you why a place is worth it, what to order or look for and one useful tip, and it opens in your browser as soon as you have paid.

Three places from the guides
Poissonnerie Les Goélands
Quai Tostain, outer harbour
A fishmonger that buys from the boats outside and cooks part of the catch for a few plain tables: fried smelts, fish and chips, mussels or oysters for roughly €12 to €18. Locals fill the seats, which says enough. From the food guide.
Église Sainte Catherine
Place Sainte-Catherine
Shipwrights built it in timber after the Hundred Years War, and you can tell: two naves sit side by side under roofs shaped like hulls turned upside down. The bell tower stands alone across the square, kept apart in case lightning struck. From the things to do guide.
Calvados Christian Drouin
Coeur de Lion, near Pont-l’Évêque, 25 min by car
A family calvados house in a half-timbered farm surrounded by orchards. The cellar tour is free and ends with cider, pommeau and calvados of several ages, and nobody leans on you to buy. From the beaches and day trips guide.
Plan your days in Honfleur
Day one: walk round the Vieux Bassin early, before the coaches pull in, then step into Sainte-Catherine’s wooden church and spend the rest of the morning in the museums on one combined ticket, since they close from 12:00 to 14:00. Take a set lunch on Rue Haute, climb to the Mont-Joli viewpoint and the sailors’ chapel of Notre-Dame de Grâce in the afternoon, and finish with a booked dinner at Le Bréard or La Tortue. Day two: take the Nomad bus over the Pont de Normandie to Le Havre for Perret’s St Joseph’s Church and the Boudin paintings at MuMa, or drive into the Pays d’Auge for a calvados tasting and Beuvron-en-Auge. For a rainy or slow day, keep to the Musée du Vieux Honfleur and the Greniers à Sel, eat galettes at La Cidrerie, which serves all day, and walk the sand at the Plage du Butin when the sky clears.
