The Malmö City Guides answer the questions every visitor brings: where to find the falafel and fika locals swear by, which museums cost nothing, how to fit Copenhagen and Lund into a short stay and where the evening goes once the old-town terraces empty. Each guide is a short, opinionated list with the reason to go, what to order or see and one practical tip per place, and it opens in your browser as soon as you pay.

Three places from the guides
Saltimporten Canteen
Grimsbygatan, Västra Hamnen
A weekday-only canteen in an old harbour shed by the water, cooking just two dishes a day, one of them vegetarian, with as much good bread as you like. Few lunches in town give you more for your money. From the food guide.
Teknikens och Sjöfartens Hus
Malmöhusvägen, by the castle
Children climb through a real submarine, test ideas in a hands-on science hall and look at old cars and aircraft, with a play area downstairs for a break. Plan on a couple of hours. From the family guide.
Falsterbo Strandbad
Falsterbo, about an hour by bus
Fine pale sand and dunes at the far southwest corner of Skåne, backed by pines. Out of season it is wild and almost empty, so pack a warm drink because the cafés are shut. From the day trips guide.
Plan your days in Malmö
Day one: start on Stortorget and Lilla torg in the old town, cross Kungsparken to the castle and its gardens, have lunch at the food hall and finish with a glass in one of the old-town wine bars. Day two: walk out to Västra Hamnen for the Turning Torso, follow the shore to Ribersborg beach, then head to Möllevången for falafel, Folkets Park and a craft taproom. For a rainy or slow day, settle into the City Library, spend a few hours at Teknikens och Sjöfartens Hus or take the short train ride to Lund for the cathedral.
