The Pattaya City Guides answer what most visitors wonder about: where Thais actually eat, how to reach Koh Larn on the public ferry instead of a tout’s speedboat, which beaches are calm and clean enough for a swim and where to spend an evening that has nothing to do with the bar strip. Each guide is a short, opinionated list with the reason to go, what to order or do and one practical tip for every place, and it opens in your browser the moment you pay.

Three places from the guides
Moom Aroi Na Kluea
Soi Naklua 4, Naklua
North Pattaya’s best-known seafood address, with tables on a deck above the water. Squid, prawns, crab and whole fish come out Thai style, cooked to the same steady standard night after night. From the food guide.
Bang Saray Beach
Sattahip, about 30 min south of Jomtien
A fishing village with a modest beach, a safe swimming zone, a row of seafood restaurants along the front and a market in the evening. It feels far more Thai than Pattaya itself. From the beaches and day trips guide.
Alcazar Cabaret Show
Pattaya Sai Song Road, North Pattaya
The veteran of Pattaya’s cabaret stages: lavish costumes, plenty of glitter and a show of about 70 minutes that families can watch together, best with children from around six. From the nightlife guide.
Plan your days in Pattaya
Day one: go up Pratumnak Hill early for Wat Phra Yai and the Phra Tamnak viewpoint, have noodles for lunch around Soi Buakhao, spend the late afternoon on Jomtien Beach and eat at Thepprasit Night Market. Day two: take the public ferry from Bali Hai Pier to Koh Larn, swim at Tawaen or Samae in the morning, come back before the last boat and finish with a cabaret show. On a rainy or slow day: lunch at the Terminal21 food court, a few hours at Underwater World or Art In Paradise, or a long visit to the Nong Nooch gardens.
