How a School Trip Works, Step by Step
1 — 📅 Book Contact us with your group size, city, and dates. We’ll send you a quote and the group code your teams will use.
2 — 📱 Play On the day, students split into teams of 3–5. Each team downloads the app, enters their group code, and works through the trail — 10 puzzles, 2–3 hours, 3–5 km of central city walking.
3 — 🎓 Reflect After the trail, teams compare scores and discuss what they noticed.

Is World City Trail safe for school groups?
Yes. Trails run through central, pedestrian-friendly streets in well-trafficked tourist areas of each city. We avoid heavy-traffic roads and isolated zones. Teachers can position themselves at central waypoints for full oversight.
What age group is best?
Ages 12 and up. The puzzles align with cognitive and reading skills that develop around middle school age, and the team-based format suits adolescents particularly well.
How long does a trail take?
2–3 hours of trail time, covering 3–5 km of central city walking. Most schools build in a lunch break partway through.
Can the trail be done in a foreign language?
Yes — games are available in 12 languages; most cities offer 5–6, and each city page lists its own. This makes them excellent for language immersion as part of a study trip.
Do teachers need to lead the activity?
No. The app guides each student team through the trail. Teachers supervise rather than lead.
