Yes, easily. River-cruise boats dock at the Passenger Port on Fajnorovo nábrežie, between the SNP Bridge and the Old Bridge, right by the Old Town. Our scavenger hunt starts at the Blue Church on Bezručova street, about 10-15 minutes' walk from the berths, and takes about 2 hours over roughly 2.5 km of flat streets. It ends at the Old Bridge next to the passenger port, so the walk back to the boat is very short.

Price range: 4.99 € through 19.99 €From the Danube berths to the Blue Church
- Leave the boat at the Passenger Port on Fajnorovo nábrežie. Some boats moor further west towards the SNP Bridge (Rázusovo nábrežie), so note exactly where yours is before you set off.
- Walk north from the Danube embankment into the Old Town, then east along its edge to Bezručova street. The Blue Church (Church of St Elizabeth) is there, about 10-15 minutes from the berths, and the app's Google Maps navigation shows the way.
- You do not need transport for this short distance. Trams and buses stop near the port at Námestie Ľudovíta Štúra, Most SNP and Šafárikovo námestie, and taxis and ride apps are available, but they are more useful for the castle hill or Devín than for the start.

Tips for Bratislava when time is short
- The hunt finishes at the Old Bridge (Starý most), next to the passenger port, so the walk back to the boat is very short.
- Berths can stretch west towards the SNP Bridge, so check where your boat is moored before you leave and allow a few extra minutes if it is the far end.
- The Old Town is compact and flat; the castle sits on the hill above it if you want to add it after the game.
- If you do take a tram or bus, buy your ticket before boarding (or use an approved mobile option) and validate it.
- Pedestrian streets and Hviezdoslav Square are roughly 0.5-1 km from most central berths, so you are never far from the river.
- No entry tickets are needed for the game: the cathedral, the palace and the other stops are seen from outside.
Why a self-guided game works on a port day
- You start when you step off the ship, not at a fixed tour time, and nobody waits for a group.
- Everyone in your party can follow on their own phone with one booking reference.
- You can stop for lunch or a swim and carry on later, and end the game whenever you need to head back.
- Google Maps guides you from stop to stop, and the game needs no entry tickets.
Bratislava river-cruise stop: questions
Where do river cruise boats dock in Bratislava?
Along the central Danube embankment. The main passenger landing is on Fajnorovo nábrežie between the SNP and Old bridges, with some berths further west towards the SNP Bridge.
Can I walk to the Old Town from the boat?
Yes. The pedestrian Old Town and Hviezdoslav Square are roughly 0.5-1 km from most central berths, about 5-15 minutes on foot.
How far is the Blue Church from the river?
It stands on Bezručova street just east of the Old Town, about 10-15 minutes' walk from the berths and roughly 10 minutes from the Old Town.
Is Bratislava in one day possible on a river cruise?
Yes. The 2-hour hunt covers the Old Town and ends by the passenger port, which leaves time for the castle or lunch before all-aboard time.
Do I need to book a time slot?
No. You book online, receive your booking reference by email straight away and start whenever you are ashore. The ticket has no time limit, so it still works if your ship arrives late or your plans change.
What do we need on the day?
A charged smartphone with mobile data, the World City Trail app from the App Store or Google Play, and your booking reference. A power bank helps on a long port day.
Port and transport details checked in November 2026. Docking positions and timetables change, so always check your ship’s all-aboard time and your cruise line’s port information before you set off.
