What you need to know about Graz escape game?
- Prefer to start the game in daylight, as the lack of light may make it difficult to solve puzzles.
- Our game is completely outdoors, so it depends on the weather. The game can continue the same day or another day if it is interrupted.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult. It is a nice and very educational activity for them if an adult helps them solve the puzzles and explains them.
- Every attraction hides a puzzle! The puzzles are independent and not connected to each other through a story. The goal is for players to interact with the attractions and their surrounding areas!
- You don’t have to pay for admission fees or entry tickets. The puzzles are related to the outdoor areas of the attractions.

Graz Team-Building & Escape Game Adventure: solve riddles together, walk the old town, no guide, no fixed start time.
You begin at the Mariensäule, the Marian column on Jakominiplatz that has watched over the city’s busiest crossroads for centuries. From there it is a short hop to the Opera Graz, the neo-baroque house of 1899 that is Austria’s second largest opera stage. Next comes the Stadtpark, the green ring laid out where the city walls once stood, full of old trees and fountains.
The Mausoleum of Emperor Ferdinand II is your next puzzle spot, a mannerist landmark begun in 1614 with interiors touched by the young Fischer von Erlach. Beside it stands Graz Cathedral, the 15th century Gothic church of Emperor Frederick III, keeper of a faded plague and locust fresco outside. Then listen for the Glockenspiel, where two carved figures dance out of a gable three times a day.
The Landhaus follows, the Renaissance seat of the Styrian parliament with its arcaded courtyard by Domenico dell’Allio. A few steps on, the City Hall dominates Hauptplatz with its towers and turrets from 1893. Sporgasse, the crooked old trading lane, hides the Turk peering from a window, and the trail finishes at the Uhrturm, the clock tower on the Schlossberg with its famously oversized hour hand.
Two and a half kilometres, roughly forty minutes of walking plus all the thinking time you want. Play in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Polish or Dutch, any day, any hour, and finish with Graz looking a little different than before.
