Ponts Couverts – starting point of Strasbourg Scavenger Hunt
The Ponts Couverts (Covered Bridges) are a set of three 13th-century bridges and four defensive towers that served as a key fortification for Strasbourg. Despite their name, the wooden roofs that once covered them were removed in the 18th century, but they remains a stunning symbol of the city’s medieval military architecture.

It is the center of the city and the largest square in Strasbourg. The square was built from 1765 to 1772 and it was built in the heart of the commercial area of the city making it one of the most active places in Strasbourg. Now it has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1988. It was not only an honor for Strasbourg only for the square itself. The reason is that this was the very first time when an entire city center was classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Opéra national du Rhin
The Opéra national du Rhin is a masterpiece of Neoclassical architecture located on the Place de la République. Originally built in the 1820s, it is famous for its grand facade featuring six massive columns topped by statues of the Muses, serving as a premier cultural hub for opera and ballet in the Alsace region.

Prima manier om op laagdrempelige manier de stad iets beter te leren kennen dan alleen de winkelstraat. Maar ook met deze speurtocht kom je gerust langs leuke winkels en plekken voor je tieners. De vragen zijn kort en precies kort genoeg om de aandacht vast te houden. Op zich zijn ze niet moeilijk maar een goede manier om de kids van A naar B te lokken. Wij hebben er twee uurtjes over gedaan op het gemakje. Ik zou het nog een keer doen in een andere grotere stad. Voor het geld is het prima

Die Route der Stadtführung war gut durchdacht und die Vernetzung mit Maps hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Informationen zu den Orten waren auf jeden Fall ausreichend und nicht zu viel. Evtl. wäre es schön, an einem Ort mehrere einfache Rätsel zu stellen. Insgesamt eine schöne Tour. Werde ich in anderen Städten gerne wieder buchen.

Mega gut! Ich hab die Tour mit zwei 8-Jährigen durchgeführt. Und das hat super gut geklappt! Ich bin auf meine Kosten gekommen weil: zuFuss die Sehenswürdigkeiten anschauen, wichtigste Informationen und kleine Annekdoten bekommen. Und die Kids hatten ihren Spaß weil sie das Handy während der Route halten durften, den Weg suchen und die Rätsel lösen. Wir sind auf jeden Fall in der nächsten Stadt wieder dabei!
